Many of their buildings are listed and require a professional and sympathetic approach to maintain a high standard of modern electrical performance without damaging architectural heritage.

One such project carried out by Delton Central Services saw the installation of new lighting and refurbishment of several training rooms in the Metallurgy and Materials building.

The contract required, not only exacting planning to allow for minimum disruption of the curriculum but also the high level professionalism required to upgrade the building in a modern but sympathetic manner.

Both parties were highly delighted with yet another on time and on target project delivered by Delton Central Services Ltd.

Delton Central have completed vital installations of Aircraft Ground Lighting at BIA and RAF Waddington to name but two and are also well able to carry out all mechanical and electrical work away from airside.  We are also about to start further AGL work on the extension to the Taxi Way lighting at BIA!

Now working closely with Mansell Airports, Delton Central Services have successfully carried out electrical installation work on the CIT units at Cardiff and  Bristol Airports and are about to start work on the Flight Simulator at Gatwick.

Delton Electric Ltd was recently successful in winning the design and manufacture of an induction heating project.

The project was to replace an old inefficient gas rotary oven which heats links of chain for processing. Uniform items of this nature lend themselves ideally for induction heating.

Induction heating gains its efficiency in utilising energy only when required. There is no preheating time and no retained heat which is wasted.

Delton Electric, in conjunction with the power source supplier, designed in house, the mechanical handling, control system, coil design and interface to all services. All installation and commissioning will be carried out by Delton Group companies.
